Store Manager at MACE Ireland - MACE Ballyboughal 

MACE Ireland is currently seeking a motivated Store Manager for our location in North Co. Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to take the next step in their career. As a Store Manager, you will have the support of a dynamic team of retail specialists within BWG Foods and the Newhill Group. Previous experience in Convenience Retail Management is required for this role, with a preference for candidates who also have forecourt experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Care: Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Store Management & Operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the store
  • Cash Management & Budget Control: Managing cash flow and maintaining budget control
  • Leadership & People Experience: Leading and motivating a team of employees
  • Stock Management: Managing inventory and ensuring proper stock levels
  • Legislation & Security: Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maintaining store security

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in Convenience Retail Management
  • Preference for candidates with forecourt experience
  • Proven ability in managing a retail sales team including managing performance
  • Excellent interpersonal relations
  • Retail business planning, controls & organising
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Excellent understanding of consumer needs
  • Proven track record in achieving agreed targets
