Deli Assistant at MACE St Lukes Cross

We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Deli Assistants at our new MACE store located in St Lukes Cross, Cork City. We are a well established butchery business expanding into the convenience retail market.

As a Deli Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.

The Role:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of fresh and delicious deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items

  • Assist customers in selecting items, providing information on products, and offering recommendations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation and serving stations

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished in a timely manner

  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the health and safety of our customers

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli section and contribute to a positive work environment
